Our Story

I’ve been collecting Pokémon since 2006. Back then, it wasn’t about value or rarity—it was about joy, imagination, and feeling safe. But as I grew up, life got busy. Really busy.
I paused collecting. I paused playing. I paused being that kid.

saving cards, one hug at a time.

For more than a decade of adulthood, life happened.
Sometimes I laughed. Sometimes I cried.
And sometimes, life hit me so hard that I didn’t know how to breathe.

One day, I opened my old binder.

And suddenly… it felt like a warm hug from my childhood.

Pokémon.

Those cards reminded me who I was before the stress, before the responsibilities, before the heartbreaks. They reminded me of comfort, creativity, and simple happiness.

As a designer and crafter, I felt called to give them a second life.

That’s how Huggimon was born.
